Default Is my severe social anxiety disorder enough to get me my own dorm?

I have social anxiety disorder
With my therapist and medication, I have been working to overcome it and have made EXCELLENT progress
I am now friendly and outgoing with people, but there is one exception
I can't LIVE with strangers or people I don't know well.
It's important for me to have my own private place away from everyone where I feel I won't be under the microscope for a little while
I'm going to college in the fall and am PETRIFIED of having a roomate
I won't be able to focus on school because I will be to busy trying to schedule my day around when my roomate will be gone
At night I will worry about my sleepwalking, night terrors, even how I look when I am asleep
This is a horrible disorder that I have improved a lot in, but this is one area that I'm sure I cannot overcome
Is this reason enough to get my own room?
