Default Asking About Testical Cancer?

Hi, i've recently been parrinoid about cancer... and i just wish too know from a person with good knowledge about this...i have a small lump on both my testicals... now what i have read is you have too check all around the sack... on the sides...well the lumps are located at the top of my testicals... as i lift my penis and hold my testicals in my palm the small lumps are at the top... not on the side or inside of my testicals... could anyone tell me if this is normal or is it cancerous?? thank you...

Testicals are very lumpy by nature, just like a womans breasts. I am no expert, but if it was cancer there would be only one solo lump that keeps growing. Also it would feel light a hard pebble..

Hello Mobileus..I'm a survivor of colorectal cancer,7 years.Recently I had reason to be worried like you are about testicular cancer because of some big swelling on one of them.Nervously,I went to a urologist.I also read up as much as I could. He did a simple exam and an ultrasound right in the office,it was easy.I was relieved to be ok,just one of those things.Cancer is something that really happens to people, but it doesn't sound like you due to both testicles and the area you mention.Be smart and get checked for these things.A colonoscopy isn't a big deal either.I wish I went in sooner.good luck, madmanny

If you are that concerned, you should see a doctor. My suspicion is it is NOT cancer because you would most likely have a lump on one testicle not both if it was.By the way, the only way to get a definitive diagnosis for cancer is biopsy. I doubt they would do that for you.

While testicular cancers do present as lumps, having them occur bilaterally is pretty infrequent. The nature of a cancerous lump is also usually hard, rather than soft. So depending on what you're feeling, it may or may not increase the suspicion of cancer. What you're describing sounds more like the bumps from the epididymis, rather than cancers. Of course, if you're concerned, you should get the opinion and exam from a medical professional.

sounds like the epididymis to me...if its soft than its most likely the epididymis, but if its hard you may want to get that checked out
