Default Signs of testicular cancer?

Does the lump have to be on the testicle (ball) itself or can it be on the epididymus?

My lump was on my testicle itself. A hard painless irregular shaped lump.

See your doctor! It is probably nothing but it is very important to get it checked out asap.
