here's what's going on. I've been with my boyfriend for about 15 months now. I recently broke up with him, and he's going to be moving his stuff out of my apartment in the next day or so. He told me last week that he was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer, which has spread to his lungs and brain. Now i can't stop crying, it's hard to smile, things just aren't the same.
I took him to a doctor's appointment today, and he came back with red, puffy eyes and his cheeks all wet. But he won't tell me what the doctor said. My boyfriend said he doesn't want to burden me and that it's not fair if he tells me.
I love this man, i do. we just don't work as a couple anymore. So now i can't get him to tell me anything. I can only guess what the doctor said- that he has a certain amount of time left, or that he has to start Chemo and he'll get sick. I wish he would just let me be his support- he refuses to tell any family members or friends. i'm the only one that knows about the cancer..... help!
i broke up with him, then he told me a few days later that he got diagnosed a week before but just never told me.
but i've been to the hospital with him and everything- so if it's a hoax just to keep me, it's pretty elaborate.
