Testicular cancer is not one type of caner. The main division being seminomatous vs non-seminomatous. One type responds to simply to radiation, the other may need both, but not necessarily just radiation. It has a fairly predictable spread pattern. Most of the time what you are feeling is an epidymal cyst or a cystocele/hydrocele. Go get an ultrasound.

Hi,
Cancer that forms in tissues of the testis (one of two egg-shaped glands inside the scrotum that make sperm and male hormones). Testicular cancer usually occurs in young or middle-aged men. Two main types of testicular cancer are seminomas (cancers that grow slowly and are sensitive to radiation therapy) and nonseminomas (different cell types that grow more quickly than seminomas). So testicular cancer doesn't kill many people any more.
