Default meditation for stress reduction?

I used to meditate and I want to start getting serious about it again. I have some meditations that I have used in the past, but I am interested to hear from others who meditate for stress reduction.Do you have a specific meditation that you use? What do you think about when you meditate? Would you be willing to describe it here in this forum? Thanks!

meditation only works if u know how to properly perform it. sit still, indian stlye (legs crossed), and put your elbows to your knees. now inhale through your nose, and exhale out your mouth. let all your thoughts pass you by, dont think, just sit. hum if you have to, but not to a tune, not so u have to concentrate.

I meditate for anxiety. I usually concentrate on my breath, using different breathing exercises. I go to a reiki practitioner as well, we've done some guided meditation, which has helped me a lot.
