Default Any natural anxiety remedies/tablets that work for you and will work for me?

I would rather natural type to calm me down instantly instead of medicated tablets which I have and only take sometimes.
Extra information: I have generalised anixety for about 8 months, do exercise, dont drink caffeine/beer, seeing a psychologist who is getting me to do breathing/relaxation exercices, and take mersyndol as a casual anxiety med as recommende by doctor for times of dire need not everyday.

Its a bit concerning that you have medication for anxiety and only take it 'sometimes'...if you have been perscribed anti-anxiety or anti-depressants then you have to take them every single day for them to work.

You can try natural remidies such as St John's Wort & Vitamin B Complex though I have tried these for a year with just a little affect to the overall problem.

Best way is to seek therapy address why you have anxiety.

A pill is not the solution to everything trust me

Natural type calm happens permanantly when you are consistant with it every day as we are all deficient, but not drug deficient.

So, instead of a band aid, like drugs... Natural remedies work with your body to restore balance.

Every day I take my pharmaceutical grade natural non toxic supplements that are proven to work, not just a good story... And every day I am healthy of mind and body.

Be sure you're up on your vitamins. The Bs help with things like this. Try a B vitamin supplement if you can. (I used to jump a mile at any sudden noise, but now don't have that reaction anymore -- unless I forget my vitamins!)

I'd also endorse chamomile tea or drops, valerian, and kava kava root. These are great. Do one at a time, of course.

Lavender fragrance can also be relaxing. They make a lavender-scented baby bath oil that's to help calm a restless baby down for the night. I eat lavender jelly (on toast or crackers) sometimes and find it relaxing, too.

Stop eating sugar, and caffeine. Take up any exercise.
Practice breathing techniques everyday.
