Default Chest pains... I had a nuclear medicine test (rest & stress) a chest x-ray,

and bloodwork, 24-hour holter,? and my cardiologist said everything looks good and normal, nothing causing concern.

However, I still have light chest pain (nothing intolerable) and I still have some palpatation through-out the day... anyone have any idea what might be going on? Specially since I had all the testing and everything's normal...! I dont understand if everythings normal what else could it be?

oh yea and I also had a heart ultrasound that also came out perfectly normal!

Simple. Anxiety.... Ask your Doctor about Celexa or Lexapro or some other SSRI that should help ease your anxiety and help you to feel better.

The stress test should show sign of blockages, but it is looking for changes from before and after exercise.

If you are athletic, and have been for a long time, you may have extensive collaterals that open up and assist you when exercising, but are shut down the rest of the time.

These tests looked for changes, and for damaged tissue, and calcification. They found none. Only an angiogram could verify if you have blockages or not.

Try not to stress. Very important. Critically.
Don't smoke, drink alcohol, or even see scary or action movies. MELLOW. No arguments.

Start or continue a GRADUAL exercise program, eat an EXTREMELY low fat diet, and eat plenty of high anti-oxidant foods. If there's nothing wrong, you'll live to be 100. If there is something wrong, you'll slow it completely, and the exercise will strengthen your heart, and possibly reveal the angina as from something non-anxiety related.

1. It could be due to anxiety--yes

but, you should rule out other disease that can "mimic" heart disease such as
2. lung diseases--pulmonary fibrosis or pneumonia--which i gues you dont have coz you seem fine
3. thyroid disease--especially if you are female, get a T4 TSH
