Anxiety and panic attacks are the result of a sudden build-up of adrenaline in your blood stream. Adrenaline levels are naturally high around the third week of your cycle (hence PMT)

Physical exercise helps limit the problem because it teaches the body to cope with the adrenaline. Relaxation exercises help control it.

The cause is likely to be that there are issues in your life that need to be resolved. Counselling can help with this.

Like has been said in the previous post exercise is good.

Also excepting it is key. The problem with anxiety and panic is you can get yourself into a nasty cycle. As you know it's not pleasant and you can begin to worry about getting the attacks which could bring one one on...What I do if I get one is I just remind myself that yes it's unpleasant but its just an addrenline rush. It cannot harm me and even if it doesn't feel like it will go away it will. Also if you find yourself doing everything quickly try and slow down. It's important to try not reinforce the idea that it is the right time for an addrenline rush. It's not easy but if you keep trying it should begin to work

Cognegative therapy for trying to manage your problems I find good also. List the negative things, the things that bother you and try to find a positive out of them or something you can say to yourself when you start to worry about it that will make you feel better. I went to see a councilors who got me to do this and it seems to work. I certainly find that without work I will tend to think negatively sop you need to try and think postativly instead.
