Default How do you deal with anxiety?

I've been stressed with work and school lately and I've been involved in a relationship with a guy for 6 months and recently I've just been worrying about our future non stop and I don't know how to deal with it anymore. I'm afraid that I'm going to lose him and I don't want to. How do I deal with all this stress and anxiety without going on meds?

i always find its a choice, if you turn around and decide to be happy, put yourself in happy-inducing situations, think yourself happy!

you are to dependent on this relationship.there cant be an up without a down..... try swimming after work....

You should talk this through with your doctor - if he thinks it's necessary, he might refer you to a councilor. Many people suffer from anxiety disorders, and if you have one it's nothing to be ashamed of. My advice is, go to your doctor - that's what they're there for, and you will only be put on medication if you agree to it.

just make sure you don't lose yourself in all that worry. You guy is dating you because there is something about he loves about you. The more you worry the more you change who you are and you might end up pushing him away with stupid thinks like second guessing him or jealousy. Try talking to him about all your stress or a good friend hopefully it will make you feel better.

find a way to deal with your stress first of all. take a 20 minute walk every day to help clear your head, or work out at the gym. exercise is great for stress. talk to someone you trust and don't bottle up your feelings. talk to him about what's going on and how you can feel better.

i have anxiety so this is what helps me.

just remember, stay in the now. not the future or the past. talk to your boyfriend about how u feel. keep a positive out look. dont think of it as life is giving you to much to handle. look at is like life knows you can handle all this.

You just gotta deal with it. I work all day, go to grad school at night, have a girlfriend and a home (with all the bills to prove it), it's very stressful but you just gotta deal. Take things one at a time & try not to worry abotu yourself too far into the future. Everything is uncertain,and if you worry about the future too much, you will miss the present.
