Default how can i manage stress and anxiety?

sometimes i worry so much that i get sick to my stomach! i dont want to take medication, so i need ideas! thanks!

I am glad someone thinks along those lines...almost all the people in the west seem to be interested in quick short-term solutions.

There are a few saying/quotes about worry that personally help me (eg worry is the interest on the payment not yet due.) If you can control something then there is no reason to worry over it, if you cannot control something, worrying wont help coz you cant control it. Does it make sense?

About things you can do...yoga is a good one. Breathing yogic exercises might help tremendously.

Should go for morning or evening work regularly for get relief from this problem. I use to go evening work 15-20 minutes daily. For this I feel very good.

You and rocketbulls in another thread are asking for the same thing so I hope it's ok if I copy and paste my reply to him here. Here it is:
We're pretty much on the same boat, I'm currently undergoing a very stressful point of my life (missed a promotion I desperately need, partner's going nuts over all our debts, parents divorcing after 18 years of marriage, my son's getting bullied at school).
I had an officemate introduce me to meditation. I dived with raised eyebrows (told you am desperate) and for the past two weeks I can honestly say am getting good results.
Nope, it didn't dramatically made my life better but I've been handling pressure and stress with more consistency and determination.

You can manage your stress and anxiety only when you have positive attitude.You need to take it as normal part of life.You can avoid the symptoms of anxiety by better anxiety medication.
