Ear pain and anxiety?

has anyone ever heard of ear pain being connected to anxiety? Lately I have had fluttering heartbeat thats last about 30 seconds and dizziness, my friend said it may be the early signs of panick attacks, but I also have been having intense ear pain. Does anyone know what all these things mean?
