I've got a gelding who's really anxious and jumpy, all of the time. He weaves and paces. When he's eating he'll take a bite of feed and then go walk around a little bit. When we take his buddy away he all but has a heart attack. Could all of this stress be causing him ulcers? Could this possibly cause any other damage?
I'm going to have the vet out once I've got the money to look at his stiff leg, is there anything the vet can do about his anxiety? Is there anyway to help calm him down or can I only help prevent damage (ulcer guard etc)?
