"Cardiovascular disease" is a really broad term - it would depend on what your problem is. If you have high cholesterol, avoid greasy foods (especially red meats). If you have high blood pressure, salt makes it worse. Also, it depends on what causes your high blood pressure. No matter what the problem is, eat vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean protein, and avoid too much fat and sugar. So basically just follow a healthy, well balanced diet. Your doctor can prescribe a more specific diet based on your needs.
