Default How can a lack of good night's sleep increase the risk of heart disease

and weight gain? We all know that saturated fatty, high caloric foods lead to gaining weight and heart problems. But I just don't get how a lack of sleep leads to cardio(heart) risks.

I recently heard the news that a lack of sleep can be bad for one's heart. What does it have to do with that? And how does it lead to gaining weight?
