How does smoking cause heart disease? And what heart disease does it cause?

Well, my grandfather died of a heart attack and that was from smoking. It causes coronary heart disease which leads to heart attack. It increases blood pressure and the likelihood of blood clotting and even decreases "good" cholesterol. not good.
