Default Big eyes and cat attacking human heart.?

I work at a high-school for aboriginal kids from way up north. One of the teachers (an older aboriginal man) had 2 dreams one night and was asking me what i thought they meant.

The first was a small boy facing 2 huge eyeballs. The second was a cat attacking a human heart.

Some background info: We have just lost 2 of our students tragically last week, one to alcohol/drowning, and one to suicide. There are serious problems in these northern communities, alcohol, sexual abuse, suicide, corruption, gangs, etc. This teacher is a spiritual man, and has many powerful visions and dreams. For example we saw a certain woodpecker with a red head and black body while we were hunting, it was swooping in front of us for a while, and he said it means something bad will happen to someone. That very night, one of our young men drowned in the river...

It's really hard for people to interpret their own dreams -- we are just guessing here -- but to interpret someone's version of someone's dream is impossible. That's because dreams have to do with what the dreamer is experiencing now. So even though we can tell you common symbols, it's your friend who should be interpreting his own dream. If I say these mean something bad will happen, well of course eventually something bad will happen but you shouldn't correlate the two. That is just superstition.

To dream of a child often means your inner child. Eyeballs may represent scrutiny, being watched, being examined or evaluated. I think he feels small and helpless in relation to someone who is putting him under scrutiny.

A cat also can mean many things. For example, a pet may mean a new "pet" project. Animals often represent animalistic urges of the dreamer. Let's just say something was tearing at his heart. Could it be the deaths? Possibly.

The first dream represents insight, paying close attention to the boy, or what the boy represents. Besides it literally being a boy it could symbolicly represent innocence among other things.

The cat represents treachory or deciet, while the human heart can suggest love, life, and others.

If the two dreams are intermingled and one plays on the other, it could mean that someone close to the dreamer, and someone he keeps both eyes focused on could face a betrayal or some sort of deciet, if they are kept seperate than the first dream represents a need to keep "all eyes" focused on a particular person, maybe he is getting into trouble.

The second dream may then indicate a feeling of being betrayed, or someone will betray their own life such as a suicide.

Hope this helps, if I am inaccurate I apologise, but to get truly accurate the dreamer should look within himself and ask what these symbols really mean, he has the answers.
