Default Does a progesterone only bc pill reduce the risks of blood clots, heart attack, or...

...stroke? I'm 32 and my husband and I are trying to find an effective bc plan. I've been told, and read, that women who are on the pill are at high risk for these things especially women over age 35. I already have high blood pressure that is controlled with medication therefore the progesterone only pill. What other options do I have? My husband considered and even scheduled a vastectomy, then we changed our mind as we only have one child and I'm high risk for another miscarriage or premature birth. I honestly can't see myself pregnant again, but would consider it if something were to happen to our daughter. The IUD is out for personal reasons, and condoms....well I know too many people that call themselves parents due to using condoms. Any suggestions? Serious answers only please...no smart asses!
