I really feel like I have a serious heart condition, but my doctor said there is
nothing wrong with me. So wh? I am usually fine, but sometimes out of nowhere my heart will just suddenly start to beat really fast, almost like a heart attack and I will feel so weak and dizzy that I might pass out or die if I don't lie down immediately. And I am always afraid that it will happen if I were to be driving or if I had a job, and I would have to stop and no one would know what was wrong. My doctor sent me to a clinic where they had me wear a heart monitor for 24 hours, and they told me that the monitor would tell if there is anything wrong with my heart. The results were subsequently sent to my doctor, who proceeded to tell me that there was "nothing wrong with my heart", but that I am merely having "panick attacks" when my heart suddenly starts beating like that. But the thing is I just did not happen to have any attack during the 24 hours while I was wearing the monitor, so I think maybe the monitor did not detect that there is anything wrong with me. Could that be the case?
my doctor also prescribed me lexapro and said as long as I am taking it I should not be having heart problems. He gave me a few sample packs of it, but it did not say how often to take it, so I had just been taking 1 a day. And yet yesterday I STILL had an attack!! WTF??? What is wrong with my heart??? Why does this keep happening??? Does my doctor even know what he is taling about?? Seriously, I am only 21!! I don't want to be having problems like this and die an early death, because it seriously feels like I could die every time my heart goes out of whack.
