Default What are the symptoms of a cat heart attack?

My cat seems to be having what I'd describe as seizures-- once a month since November, but this month she's had two (one of which was this early morning). I've look on the 'net for answers but found that as of yet vets cannot control seizures (even with steroids which bring on another weighty list of side effects). And seizures could be caused from almost anything.

My other theory is that she's having a series of heart attacks. She is 14-1/2 years old and was diagnosed with a slight murmur 2 yrs ago. I'm not confidant that she'd survive all the tests a vet would put her through if I took her to the vet. If she is in fact dying, I'd like to make her as comfortable as possible... but I would like to know what's going on.

Normally after the event, she's very disoriented, but soon recovers with an incredible appetite. Right now she's feels a bit warm and hiding under a dresser, so I think she's not feeling well.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
