alcohol....my dad too. Is it genetic? Just don't know who to ask............what a lousy history we have Massive heart attacks and alcoholism combined, for both of them. Luckily I can not drink any more...but I refuse to thank MS and medication for stopping my drinking.

Yes they're both genetic... on the bright side we're all going to go at some point and heart attacks are much preferable to say cancer...

Heart attacks are caused mostly by plaque build up in the arteries. You might want to check with your doctor if it is okay to take CoQ10 and ginkgo or some type of anti oxidents with your MS meds.
Alcohol most likely does contribute to heart attacks but if you haven't been drinking it shouldn't be a problem for you if it hasn't been.

Amino acids and some other natural things are suppose to be good for MS.
