I heard that Chantix, the stopsmoking aid, is causing sudden death and heart attacks?

Has anyone else heard the latest about the stop smoking aid Chantix? I have family members taking this to help them quit, and have heard that Chantix is being linked to the cause of sudden death, heart attacks and suicide.
