Default Have a mens health question?

My Bf said he went to the restroom and started to urinate...he then stopped in mid stream and said felt a sharp pain shoot right behind his upper leg like right in between the legs and around the butt cheek. Is this something serious? He has been under a lot of stress lately

Did he stop the stream on purpose? If so, he may have just been feeling the muscles he uses to do this. The area he is describing (I think) is called the pelvic floor, and it contains the muscles one uses to stop the stream. He may want to try stopping on purpose again and see if he gets the same symptoms (although I'd understand if he was reluctant to do so, given his experience last time). I'd say that this probably isn't a big deal if it was a one-time incident. If it continues to happen, then he needs to consult a physician.

Sounds like something in his nervous system. I'd get it checked out if it happens again. Stress may have been a likely culprit, so try to get him to relax a little.

this almost sounds like sciatica... Kind of doesn't sound like its related to the urinary tract..go to the dr and get it checked out
