No, that's ridiculous. You're right, they couldn't sell it if it did that, plus it's just conditioner, not acid. Use it if you want.

i doubt conditioners would make men's hairline recede, if it did, noone would be using it. the hairstylists that are male always tell you to use shampoo and conditioner so i'm sure they use it too and i see no indication of hair receding. also, there were plenty of tests that were done before the products were released so i'm sure they would have stopped production if it did have those side-effects. but it also depends on the brand, try not to use brands that just been recently released because they might not have completely tested out the product yet, esp. products from China.
