My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and

a on her butt. Why?
I have had her to the Vet, he says this happens to some Doxies.. But he's never seen it in a long hair before..
I have not seen it in other Dashounds.. Just mine!
