Temporary hairloss?

I appear to be losing hair on the right side of my forehead. Both my paternal and maternal grandfathers have their hair and so does my dad so I'm wondering if there are other reasons other than genetics of why I would lose my hair and only on the right side. I don't have a camera so I can't show you, but I'm wondering if anyone knows something about this.
