its just a messy bun.

put your hair into a bun and then pull at bits so its not come out of the bun, but looks messy..

She's literally just scraped it back with her fingers and fastened with a hair band, and not pulled the hair all the way thru the band so it makes a rough kind of bun, don't think it's any special kind of technique she's just tied it up in a real messy way.

Try it on on unbrushed bed hair to get that messy feel.

Pull hair back really loose so it is still curly, Twist it like you are going to make a bun, but leave the ends really loose, so it looks like a ball with the frayed hair on the outside, put a hair tie around it loosely.
