dog hair loss?

hey my 2yr-3yr old dog is losseing heaps of hair in clumps on her bottem like up top, iv washed her to take off all her loose hair is there anything else to do with her? i dont really want to take her to the vets as if its just something shes done or stress or something i would feel i would be wasteing the vets time tah
