after a breast reduction surgery from gynecomastia, the doc has given me a binder for the chest.... can i do work already? i am a nursing attendant...can i go on with my job? and what are the work i should avoid whil recovering?

Your doctor should have answered such questions. I would contact the doctor and find out from him to be certain. I would say no strenuous work...but be sure to ask a professional!
