Why do people think visionaries are impotent?

I asked a question earlier about the difference between visionaries, and revolutionaries...came back pretty unanimously that visionaries aren't the 'doers'.....

what about the inspiration they insight?......is physical service the only thing people see as 'action'.....come on where's the love for the visionary??
