If one pill lasts about 8 hours (or however long) most women would be pretty over the whole thing by then.
Could you just take half the pill, only last four hours, and allow your woman to still be able to walk the next day?

It doesn't work like that, unfortunately. You're cutting the amt. of medication in half but what you're taking is still effective for eight hours.
